It used to be simple to cultivate more security in you life. You throw a lock on it and tuck the key in your pocket. Now in the Age of Information the concept has stayed the same, but now instead of walking around with hundreds of keys on a giant ring like the High School custodian, all of your keys are electronically stored on your computer or cellphone. Security can be anything from physical locks on doors to encrypted passwords for websites. TechnoVision and its Partners has the ability to help secure and maintain these systems. To protect your property, your data, your identity, and even your physical safety; TechnoVision can help you create a concise and effective strategy to prevent threats that seek to harm you.
NETWORK SECURITY
Network Security is more important that ever as computers, networks, and databases get more and more complex. As we move into the future almost everything will be stored in a digital form. Most applications are going to scan codes that lead to complex password requirements that are impossible to remember but necessary. Medical Documents, Birth Certificates, Building Deeds, Social Media Accounts, Insurance Portals... These digital documents, accounts, and passwords are crucial; which is why you need to have a network that will be strong enough to prevent hackers and hustlers from stealing them. Network security is ever changing to keep up with demands of the Modern Cyber Age, make sure that your systems and information is able to keep up.
Memory doesn’t record our experiences like a video camera. Eyewitness testimony is a potent form of evidence for getting to the truth of an event, but it is subject to unconscious memory distortions and biases even among the most confident of witnesses. So memory can be remarkably accurate or remarkably inaccurate. Without objective evidence, the two are indistinguishable. Now imagine when there are no witnesses. Quality video footage can be the difference between catching someone in the act, and no evidence of what is actually going on or what happened in your building. Give you and yours the peace of mind knowing that there can be deterrence and safety with a friendly eye in the sky.
Access Control is the ability to monitor and control the physical access to a building or facility using credentials. With valuable information, property, and personnel it's hard to keep track of who has been where and when, where and when they have the ability to go somewhere, and how quickly you can grant or deny that access. With an Access Control System these function's can be applied at the push of the button. You will no longer have to worry about individuals intruding in places they shouldn't, rekeying buildings and locks for changes in personnel, or not having a timeline of when and where people gained access to your home or business. Cut out the brass keys and padlocks. Decide who needs to be in your building and when, in real time.

Cameras and Access Controlled Locks are a great resource to secure a building or area of operation, but there are trade offs for their installation, especially when it comes to the price. We can absolutely wire your facility to have every square inch covered by multiple cameras from several different angles. If that is your vision we wont resist your wishes, but it is usually unnecessary. With the right techniques and practices a few cameras and/or locks strategically positioned to function together as a system will be more than enough to secure your facility. On the opposite side of the spectrum, not installing enough resources into a security system will ultimately make it ineffectual and ultimately squander the goals of added security. This goes for network security as well. You need to have a balance within your network with what is allowed in and what is not. You want to find that balance somewhere between not letting foreign entities attack your network or allowing your children/employees to be accessing content/data they shouldn't, and not having to call tech support every time you try to open an email.
Doing something right can often be expensive, something along the lines of the old saying; "Never skimp on anything that touches the ground: Shoes, Tires, and Mattresses." The same is true with security. As previously mention this level of cost can be mitigated if it is done efficiently with the precise amount of cameras and locks in key places. Another thing to consider however is that in order to be installed properly it will need to be installed straight into the infrastructure of the building. This will increase the value of the building as opposed to installing a cheaper system improperly which can decrease the value. Examples of this can be having a cheap camera visibly screwed in to a wall, having exposed wires wrapped around the exterior of the facility, or cables that are loosely thrown across a drop ceiling. Not only is it unseemly but is more likely to be damaged over the course of time between weather, vandalism, or general exposure. With a little extra effort installing it the right way the first time will guarantee production and value for years.
It can be uncomfortable going about your day, minding your own business, and looking up and seeing a big camera lens staring back at you. It can be disconcerting to think that some one on the other side of the camera could be voyeuristically watching you. In our experience however there is too much going on in a day for someone to be watching individuals because frankly, and we aren't trying to be offense here, they probably aren't doing anything interesting enough to be watched. Unless you are in a high security or large retail environment, these systems are mostly meant for deterrence and for evidence of some infraction after the fact. You however, can control that information. Just because you know someone isn't watching, doesn't mean they know someone isn't watching. That's where that uncomfortable feeling can set in and ultimately deterrence.
